Staff Get-together As Ministry of Budget and Planning Marks Successful End-of-Year Celebrations

The Ministry of Budget and Planning successfully hosted its annual end-of-year staff party on 23rd December, 2024, at the Ministry's Conference Hall. The event which captured a large turnout of over 90% Staff members, featured a DJ including, foods, drinks and dancing, providing a valuable platform for Staff members to relax, socialize, and celebrate their collective achievements throughout the year.  At the event, the Commissioner for Budget and Planning, Barr. Chris-Roberts Ozongwu, cheerfully expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the hard work and dedication spirit of every Staff member throughout the year. PDP Inaugurates LG, Ward Executives In Enugu South Council

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Enugu State on Thursday, inaugurated some newly elected Local Government and Ward Executives of the party at the Enugu South Council Area. At the Council's headquarters in Uwani, the special occasion had the distinct presence of the PDP Chairman, Enugu State, Dr. Martin Chukwuwike, who inaugurated the executives commending them as well as members, for their believe in the party. Nigeria’s Information Minister Commends IPI, NUJ on Successful Election, Calls for Responsible Journalism

The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, has commended the International Press Institute (IPI) Nigeria and the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) for the smooth and successful conduct of elections for new executive officers. In a statement signed by the Minister’s Special Assistant on Media, Rabiu Ibrahim, he said, “I wish to congratulate Messrs Muskilu Mojeed, Chief Executive Officer of Premium Times, and Ahmed Shekarau, Managing Director of Media Trust, who were re-elected as President and Secretary, respectively, as well as the re-election of four other officers of IPI Nigeria,” Idris stated.
