Civil servants and retirees in Enugu State are set to benefit from improved welfare programs under new initiatives launched by His Excellency, Gov. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah. The measures, which include financial and infrastructural support, aim to enhance working conditions and boost morale across the state’s public service. The new policy outlines a review of adjustments arising from the minimum wage and continued investment in manpower development across the civil service. The 2026 fiscal framework reflects a pro-workers posture, with N32 billion allocated for pensions, gratuities and inherited liabilities.
