According to a statement by the Federal Ministry of Finance , the Implementation Committee for the order held a first meeting in Abuja on February 26, 2026, setting out steps to ensure petroleum revenues are managed transparently and in line with constitutional principles. The committee emphasized that all actions are meant to safeguard revenues for the Federation and support fiscal stability across all tiers of government. Engr Mike Ogbuekwe   Engr. Mike Ogbuekwe, the Managing Director/CEO of the Enugu State Marketing Company and Special Assistant to Gov. Peter Mbah on Agriculture, has emphasized the state government’s active drive for clustered, mechanized farming and structured distribution of farm produce across Enugu State. Ogbuekwe made this known in an interview, describing the initiative as a “two-pronged strategy” that enables both smallholder and large-scale farmers to operate efficiently, share resources, and engage in cooperative or out-grower and in-grower models. He explained that the Farm Estates, which cover 52,000 hectares across the state, provide each ward with 200 hectares cleared, fenced, and equipped with security and warehouse facilities, while plots of one hectare are allocated to community farmers and large-scale commercial farmers access land through the state’s land bank. The Enugu State Government has approved the construction and reconstruction of 1,022 urban roads in line with Governor Peter Mbah’s administration’s target to pave all the roads in Enugu metropolis before the end of his first term in office. This was made known at the end of the Enugu State Executive Council meeting at the weekend.
