Monthly Environmental Sanitation Returns to Lagos Without Movement Restrictions

The Lagos State Government has reintroduced its monthly environmental sanitation exercise but without the movement restrictions that previously accompanied the programme. Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu announced the update during a sanitation flag-off event at Olosa Bus Stop in Mushin, Lagos. According to the governor, the exercise will now take place on the last Saturday of every month between 6:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. across the state. While residents are expected to participate in cleaning their surroundings, he clarified that people will still be allowed to move freely during the sanitation period.
