ENSUBEB Begins Screening of Shortlisted Vendors for School Feeding and Cleaning Services

The exercise is part of the government’s effort to ensure that public primary and junior secondary schools provide safe, hygienic, and supportive learning environments. The screening began on Thursday, February 5, 2026, and will continue until Thursday, February 12. Each day is assigned to specific local government areas, covering all 260 wards in Enugu State. Vendors are required to present valid identification and their original application documents. Only those who were shortlisted in the initial application process are eligible to participate, and only successful applicants will be invited to provide services in schools. The announcement, according to the Board, is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen service delivery and improve the learning environment in public primary and junior secondary schools operating under the Smart Green School initiative. The opportunities are open to two categories of vendors. School Feeding Vendors will be responsible for the provision of safe, hygienic, and nutritious meals to pupils, while Cleaning Service Vendors will handle sanitation and hygiene services within the schools.
