Enugu State Indigene Receives International Recognition from U.S. Leadership Institute

HOME GROWN FOOD FOR CHILDREN'S HEALTHY LIVING —SNO

Mothers have been encouraged to give their children home grown foods and vegetables to help them grow healthy and reduce malnutrition and mortality rate amongst children. The State Nutrition Officer (SNO) Mrs. Loveth Onwuzuluike from State Primary Health Care Development Agency (SPHCDA), made the statement during a UNICEF supported outreach to the Iva Pottery Health Center, at Iva Valley Enugu by the Social Mobilization and Technical Committee (SOMTEC) members. Mrs. Onwuzuluike who found out two malnourished babies while checking the children at the health center with Mid Upper Arm Circumference (MUAC) Tape, frowned at the condition and advised mothers to always make vegetable gardens in their environment as well as grow local foods and fruits that will add nutritional value to the lives of their children, save cost of living and enjoy healthy leaders tomorrow. 10% DISCOUNT AWAITS EXHIBITORS IN 2026 TRADE FAIR —ECCIMA

The President Enugu Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (ECCIMA) Sir Odeiga Jideonwo has promised to grant a ten percent (10%) discount to exhibitors who will register early for next year's Trade Fair. Sir Jideonwo who made this known during the closing ceremony of the 36th Enugu International Trade Fair held at the Trade Fair Complex Permanent site, Golf Estate, G R A Enugu, noted that the promo would run from now till 30th November, 2025 while the next year's Trade Fair would hold from 20th to 30th March, 2026. He assured the would be exhibitors that the three thousand Square meters Premium Air Condition Exhibition Pavilion which is still under construction will be ready by August for next year's Trade Fair. DEVELOPMENTAL STRIDES: IPAC PAYS ENUGU EAST BOSS A VISIT

The Inter Party Advisory Council (IPAC) in Enugu East LGA paid a courtesy visit to the Mayor, Engr. Pst. Beloved-Dan Obi Anike, to commend him and the Governor on their quality leadership and service delivery.  The IPAC delegation, led by the APC chairman in Enugu East LGA; Mr. Nnaemeka Agu, expressed satisfaction with the Mayor's developmental strides in various sectors, including health, education, and rural electrification. Hon. Mrs. Chinelo, a party leader, thanked the Mayor for his educational support programs, particularly the payment of WAEC fees for all SS3 students in public schools which are daughter benefited from. She praised the Mayor for restoring public trust in governance and prayed for God's blessings upon him and his team.
